Mvenge always had a passion to address the deeper needs of people at heart. In no time many people started to come seeking for counseling and guidance from him from the different parts of the country and abroad and some communicating with him by e-mail. Rev. P.G. Also sat on the ecumenical Board of the Zimbabwe Theological Education by Extension where he was both Tutor and Examiner for Theological students. He was also the Treasurer of the same organization until the time of his resignation from the Anglican Diocese. In 2006, with the blessing of the Anglican Bishop of the Diocese of Central Zimbabwe, Rev. Mvenge resigned from his position of Dean and Archdeacon of the St. Cuthbert’s Cathedral and Shurugwi Archdeaconry in order to concentrate full time on Pastoral work in line with his training at Birmingham University.
From 2007 the Christian Healing Ministry for all Nations Church was founded comprising of Rev. P.G.A. Mvenge, his wife Grace and children and a small group of people who were less than ten in number. The first Church services were held at their rented house in Gweru. Later on Rev. Mvenge secured a place to conduct Church services at the Chaplin High School Chapel were the school authorities also asked him to conduct services for students once per month. People started to come from the different parts of the country every Sunday to attended services. Information was just being passed on by those who would have been blessed at the services.
The numbers continued to increase until the School Chapel became small. In October 2010, the Christian Healing Ministry for All Nations relocated to the Gweru Show grounds where they found a bigger venue. Still the numbers of people continued to increase and at times services are held in the open in order that all coming may be accommodated. At the same time, the Christian Healing Ministry for All Nations has successfully held Church Crusades in other parts of the country on request from its widespread membership. The Vision of the Christian Healing Ministry for All Nations is in accordance with the LORD Jesus’ commission in Matthew 28:19-20 and our Mission Statement is to: Illuminate souls, to illuminate nations and to illuminate the world with the Gospel of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.
